MAC Cosmetics’ travel retail team needed a global campaign that would introduce travelers to their new “make your own eyeshadow palette” program.

 

We created “Let Colour Take Flight”, a modular and inclusive campaign that urged globetrotters to find beauty, color and inspiration in unexpected places — a puddle in London, a fruit stand in Tokyo or a desert storm in Dubai.

MAC Cosmetics’ travel retail team needed a global campaign that would introduce travelers to their new “make your own eyeshadow palette” program.

 

We created “Let Colour Take Flight”, a modular and inclusive campaign that urged globetrotters to find beauty, color and inspiration in unexpected places — a puddle in London, a fruit stand in Tokyo or a desert storm in Dubai.

We partnered with MAC makeup artists and created 26 distinct makeup looks on 12 models inspired by travel photography we curated from around the globe.

 

The 360 campaign includes still & video assets for social & digital media, a micro site and merchandising units in retail. The campaign was adapted to 9 languages and optimized for 3 regions with ease due to its modular nature.  In the same way a city goes from unknown to familiar, customizing your new palette went from intimidating to easy as 1,2,3.
